Pakistan Air Force Role in Protecting Airspace Is Unforgettable: Maryam Nawaz

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the role of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in protecting Pakistan’s airspace is unforgettable. She paid tribute to the PAF’s martyrs and veterans on Air Force Day, saying that those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s defense are national heroes whose sacrifices will always remain alive in the hearts of the people.

In her Air Force Day message, Maryam Nawaz saluted the PAF’s air warriors, martyrs and veterans for their sacrifices, courage and professionalism. She said Air Force Day represents national unity, unwavering resolve and patriotism.

She specifically paid tribute to Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed and other PAF personnel who, she said, created unforgettable examples of courage and bravery in the skies.

Maryam Nawaz also referred to the PAF’s performance in May last year, saying that Pakistani air force personnel demonstrated their professional skills, courage and determination by bringing down eight advanced enemy fighter aircraft. She prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for strength for their families.
